I've been photographing weddings since 2013, all over London and across the UK. Town hall ceremonies with twelve guests, big rowdy parties that ran way past midnight, and everything in between. The venue changes, the people change, but at the core it's always the same thing. Everyone you love, all in one room, having the best time. One of the only days where people from all parts of your life end up in the same place, all there for you.
It's the proudest look on a parent's face. That wave of emotion when you first see each other. The speech that has everyone buckled with laughter, that look you give each other when it actually hits you that you've got married. Singing your hearts out on the dancefloor. All these little moments are what make up your day, and what make me love my job. It's an honour and a privilege to do this, and one I'll never take for granted. What you get to keep is a treasured photo diary of your day that you can pick up and read any time you like and be transported back to your day, all the feelings, all the energy, all of the joy and wonderful people.d.
