I've been photographing weddings since 2013, all over London and far beyond. Intimate ceremonies with a handful of guests, big celebrations that spilled into the early hours. The venue changes, the guests change, but the feeling never does. It's pure magic. One of the only days where every part of your life ends up in the same place, everyone you love, all in one room, all there for you celebrating and captured forever.
It's the proudest look on a parent's face. That wave of emotion when you first see each other. A speech that has everyone buckled with laughter, then that glance you give each other when it actually hits you, you're married. Singing your hearts out on the dancefloor at midnight. These and so many more magical moments are what make up your day. And after all these years, they're still the reason I love doing this. I never take it for granted.
What you get to keep is a diary of your day. Something you can open ten, twenty years from now and be right back there. The feelings, the energy, the joy, the people you love.
