About Me
Hey, I'm Ian, though most people call me Sidey. I'm a documentary-style wedding photographer based in West Dulwich, South East London, where I live with my partner, Jon. We met while backpacking in Australia and have been adventuring together ever since.
My love for photography started with travel. I realised how powerful it is to capture real moments, the kind that take you straight back to how it felt. I photographed my first wedding in 2013, a full-on Scottish celebration for my best friend's sister. It was joyful, emotional and totally unforgettable. I knew straight away this was what I wanted to do.
What I love most about weddings is the people. Every couple brings their own energy, and it's always a privilege to document it all. The laughter, the happy tears, the chaos on the dancefloor, and everything in between. And yes, I'll always say yes to a slice of cake.
My approach to wedding photography is relaxed, fun and real. No stiff posing or awkward moments, just honest, natural images that reflect how your day actually felt. We'll chat through your plans, and if you fancy, we can even do a pre-wedding shoot to help you feel completely at ease before the big day.

Since 2013, I've photographed everything from intimate town hall ceremonies to full-on celebrations that went on long into the night. Every wedding is different, and that's exactly what I love about them.
