KATYA + DREW It was a glorious and still coolish KATYA + DREW
It was a glorious and still coolish morning at Old Marylebone Town Hall, which worked out well for Drew because in a nod to his Scottish heritage and a surprise for his mum, Drew was wearing his family tartan, and IYKYK, wearing head to toe wool is not the one in this heat.

Katya also looked incredible, dress and blazer draped on her shoulders, carrying a bunch of pure white peonies that had been expertly arranged by her mum.

After a beautiful and emotional ceremony in the Mayfair Room with family and friends, and dogs also dressed in their finest (they even got in on the confetti, see pic 9), we then headed to the iconic stairs for the confetti moment and group shots, before hopping on a classic Routemaster to The Baring, a lovely little spot in Islington, for lunch.

IONA + SCOTT These two got married in early June, IONA + SCOTT
These two got married in early June, and I’m pretty sure that’s the last time I saw rain. Not that it had any chance of dampening things. Arsenal had just won the league and they were both still buzzing.
My morning started at Iona’s Airbnb which was amazing, full of light and giving me NY loft vibes. Iona wore a custom sparkly pale purple gown with old Hollywood waves, so good. And her seven ladies of honour all got the colour memo.
The sun shone for us leaving, just long enough for some portraits of Iona looking iconic, then a black cab to Hackney Town Hall. After the gorgeous ceremony we headed for confetti on the steps, with the rain holding off from full downpour till the confetti tunnel had finished!!
Guests grabbed cocktails and jumped on the Routemasters, we jumped in a cab and made a stop at the Emirates on the way, because when your favourite player is Thierry Henry you gotta get a pic with his statue. Then it was on to Never For Ever in north london where the party carried on.
I was on constant rain watch all evening for a moment to pop out for group shots. We got about a 10 minute window of dry, but in its place, gale force winds, which made for hilarious scenes.

Can we just take a moment for this incredible outfit! 💜
SILKE + JAMES Silke got ready with her two best f SILKE + JAMES

Silke got ready with her two best friends, then met her dad who was waiting to walk her down the aisle.

After the ceremony we did group shots on that beautiful marble staircase, then stepped outside into an absolute storm of colourful confetti and streamers,So much confetti they got to do it twice as the wind worked magic keeping it going so back down the confetti tunnel with everyone cheering, including the football fans gathering at the pub across the street.

Then everyone hopped on an old Routemaster bus over to Frederick’s in Islington. It’s a bit of a Mary Poppins bag of a restaurant. Cute and small from the front, tucked down a little cobbled street, then it opens up into a gorgeous conservatory and garden you’d never expect.

And inside, pom poms everywhere. Silke had been making them for months and roped everyone she knew into helping. In her bouquet, on the tables, in with the flowers. They even matched the paintings on the walls.

She changed into a gorgeous teal dress for the evening, new headband to match, and during the speeches the inevitable happened. Someone threw a pom pom and it turned into a full on war. The best bit was the cheeky grin on James’s mum’s face just before she launched one.

I went home with my own little pom pom gift bag ♥️

ELLEN + JOE These two got married at Hackney Town ELLEN + JOE
These two got married at Hackney Town Hall on a gorgeous spring morning back in March, gorgeous blue skies and a crispness to the air.

The ceremony was super intimate, just the two of them, their mums and their two little daughters, that was it. The staff were so lovely and let me pop in right at the end to catch them signing the register. Ellen and her family are from Glasgow, so it was lovely to hear a wee bit of home.

Afterwards we wandered over to their favourite little cafe in Hackney for cake and coffee, before they headed off for a celebration meal with all their friends and family.

Ellen looked incredible. She had on this Issey Miyake pleated dress in the most perfect pale blue grey. I asked how she’d landed on it, and she told me she’d always wanted to get married in an Issey Miyake.

LORENA + EMRE We took the scenic route via Regent’ LORENA + EMRE
We took the scenic route via Regent’s Park to the iconic old Marylebone Town Hall for their legal bit. With a big celebration planned for later in the month in Istanbul. But for now, this was just for them. Their close families, and dearest friends, and that was it. After sharing the most as beautiful personal vows to each other, it was clear they had found their person. I’m not gonna lie, I did have a wee happy tear.

Lorena looked incredible, like she’d stepped out of a vintage copy of Vogue. The hat was perfection and Emre looked super sharp in his linen suit.

Are hats the new veil for a town hall elopement?
