A Colourful LGBTQ+ Wedding at Loft Studios, London
It’s hard to explain what an honour it was to photograph India and Lottie’s wedding. From the moment I walked into Loft Studios that morning, the whole place just buzzed with love and energy. This wasn’t just a celebration of their relationship — it was a full-on explosion of joy, colour, and connection with their favourite people. You could see the care and intention in every little detail, from the personal vows to the laughter shared between guests. There was a real sense of togetherness, and it felt like everyone was fully present, soaking up every moment. As a photographer, it’s a dream when a day unfolds so naturally and so full of heart.
The Cove Studio at Loft Studios had been completely transformed by Lex Hamilton Floral Studio. A full rainbow ombré floral installation wrapped around the ceremony space — bright, bold and beautifully extra. The colours danced across the room, catching the light as the couple exchanged vows. Every corner of the space felt like it had been touched by joy and creativity, making it the perfect setting for this kind of love story. It wasn’t just decoration — it told a story. A celebration of love in all its shades, unapologetically vibrant and full of personality.
Heartfelt Ceremony at This LGBTQ+ Wedding at Loft Studios
India Bel Ceremonies led a ceremony that had everyone crying and laughing (sometimes at the same time). It was meaningful, honest and completely “them”. You could feel the love bouncing off the walls — no awkward traditions or filler, just pure connection. From heartfelt readings to inside jokes that had everyone in stitches, it was clear this ceremony was built from real love and shared history. The way they looked at each other said everything. You could feel the nerves at the start melt into joy and warmth as they exchanged vows. That kind of emotion is impossible to stage — and it’s exactly what I love to photograph.
Golden Hour Portraits at Loft Studios, West London
As the sun dropped, we snuck outside for golden hour portraits. Soft evening light, a couple of smoke bombs, and their wedding party bringing the energy — we had an absolute blast. These kinds of unposed, playful moments are what I live for. There’s something special about giving couples space to just be themselves — to move, to laugh, to connect — while I quietly capture the magic. The result? Images that feel honest, warm, and totally unique to their day. The light was golden, the laughter was real, and for a few minutes, everything felt beautifully still. It’s these in-between moments that often become the most treasured memories in a gallery.
Confetti, Neon and a Wild First Dance
Their first dance turned into a proper party moment — confetti flying, rainbow neons glowing, and FLO Collective absolutely owning the stage. It felt more like a gig than a wedding and the energy was off the scale. Everyone was on the dance floor and no one wanted the night to end. I love when weddings lean into that full-on party vibe — it means people let go and really live in the moment, and that’s when some of the most fun, energetic photos happen. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, with friends and family jumping, hugging, twirling and belting out lyrics. That first dance confetti shot? Iconic. You could feel the joy vibrating through the floorboards.
Relaxed, Creative LGBTQ+ Wedding Photography in London
Most of the couples I work with say they’re not comfortable in front of the camera — and that’s totally fine. My approach is super relaxed and documentary-style. No stiff posing or cheesy smiles, just real moments captured as they happen. I want you to be able to look back at your gallery and remember exactly how the day felt — the nerves, the joy, the chaotic hugs, the clinking glasses. Your wedding photos shouldn’t feel like a photoshoot. They should feel like your memories, frozen in time. If you’re planning an LGBTQ+ wedding in London and want photos that feel natural and full of life — no pressure, no awkwardness — I’d love to chat about how we can tell your story in a way that’s completely true to you.
