Hello! I'm Sidey - a fun and creative professional wedding photographer

Hi there! I’m Ian aka Sidey, a wedding photographer based in West Dulwich, living with my partner Jon (we met travelling in Australia 16 years ago!)When I’m not capturing beautiful weddings, you’ll likely find me:

• Planning my next adventure (travel is a huge passion!)
• At the theatre, one of the joys of living in London, there is always something to see, 
• Looking for the perfect pair of trainers  (metallic silver ones to be precise) or Dr Martens, I’ve always been scared of the ‘breaking them in era’ but the loafers are like slippers from the the jump.
• Drinking coffee  (and maybe a little cake – I confess, I have a sweet tooth!)

What got me here?

My love for travel ignited a passion for capturing memories, and I realised how precious it is to document the good times. That led me to become a wedding photographer in 2013, starting with my best friend’s sister’s wedding a full-on Scottish wedding it was exhilarating, I loved it, I haven’t looked back since!

Why weddings?

Honestly, the best part is the people! I get to meet incredible couples and their loved ones, document the excitement, love, and joy of their special day, and sometimes even snag a slice of cake (hey, it’s a perk!).

My photography style?

Laid-back, relaxed, fun, and unposed. I want you to feel comfortable and enjoy every moment of your day. We’ll chat about your plans, maybe even do a pre-wedding shoot to break the ice, and then I’ll capture the magic – the big moments, the little details, all the real emotions that make your day unique.

Who are my ideal couples?

Couples who are cool, relaxed, and love documentary-style photography. You know the drill – you want to celebrate with your favorite people, have some fun, and maybe a few drinks, without feeling staged or awkward.
